Keynote Speaker: Melissa Clarke, MS, MEd.
Melissa Clarke is a dedicated educator, with an innovative approach, which has spread throughout the Central Florida education community. Her 10 years of experience in the education field have provided her with reputable titles such as, OCPS Teacher of the Year, Director of Programs and Events in the east Orlando learning community, and a Certified Online Specialist. After receiving her Bachelors of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida (2005), Melissa spent time in the criminal, personal injury and product liability law sectors where she built many professional relationships.
Values the importance of education and professional advancement, Melissa went on to receive a Master of Science in Education Media Design & Technology from Full Sail University (2010). Shortly after completing this degree and earning various certifications, such as: Certified Professional Florida Teacher of English, Certified Professional Teacher of ESOL, English Language Learners Instructional Trainer, and Certified Professional Florida Educational Leadership, Melissa received her Master of Education in Educational Leadership at National Louis University. An efficient collaborator, trainer and cognizant of the importance of personal development. Melissa is the CEO of Laannco, Inc., a full-service event planning and consulting company, where she connects with domestic and international clientele. Her animated personality and genuine passion for mentorship have opened many doors for her to develop herself personally and professionally. Melissa is passionate about searching for new ways to impact her community, and is no stranger to sacrifice and consistency. She has spent a large portion of her professional career mentoring youth and proving that adversities are never too big to overcome.
